Norwegian Private Equity Firm Adds Hatchery Producer Neptun Salmo to Portfolio

Broodstock Capital, a Norway-based private equity seafood investor, has taken over ownership of Neptun Salmo, a Norwegian hatchery producer.

Broodstock’s acquisition of the Nord-Trøndelag-based hatchery marks the start of the creation of a larger independent hatchery producer, the company said in an update.

Neptun Salmo boasts decades of hatchery production experience and a new production facility that opened in 2024.
